![]() ![]() I actually had several students say that the workload and lack of social life at U of T wasn’t worth it, regardless of the prestige of the school. My experience visiting and touring EngSci at U of T was very negative in the sense that it seemed like everyone was only looking out for themselves. Is there any truth to this? I am mostly drawn to Mac due to the fact that MacEng is still a highly regarded program and seemed to have a sense of community completely unlike what I saw at U of T. ![]() However, looking through past threads and posts about Ontario engineering on other subreddits is making me second guess my choice many people seem to dislike the program at Mac and seem to have the mentality that the only good jobs go to U of T and Waterloo students. I was accepted into engineering at U of T, McGill, McMaster, and Queen’s but I’ve always leaned towards McMaster because when I went for tours and a student shadow day everyone I met seemed to really like the program and the school seemed to have a great sense of community. I know similar questions are constantly posted on this subreddit but I’m really just looking for some honest opinions about McMaster Engineering.
